Special stitch: puff stitch

Yarn over, insert the hook two rows below the next stitch, and pull up a loop to the height of the current row. Repeat this action three times in the same stitch until there are 7 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all 7 loops.

Pattern notes

• To resize, chain a multiple of 5 plus 8.
• Ch 1 at the beginning of a row does not count as a stitch.
• Puff stitches are worked into stitches two rows below.
